In the past, five-minute news bulletins every hour have kept its audience up-to-date with current affairs, but now a dedicated news channel will offer viewers greater choice. Shows like Tajaliat-e-falak and Sipahi Maqbool Hussain keep the viewers on the edge. TV One and News One are part of Air Waves Media, owned by Interflow Communications, one of Swindon’s leading advertising agencies. Interflow Communications launched the first privately owned TV channel in Swindon in the early 1990s as well as launching TV ASIA in Pakistan. TV One's 24/7 news channel "NEWS ONE", recently aired a daring report saying that the 'suicide' attack in Islamabad at the anniversary of Red Masjid assault [6 July, 08], was indeed not a 'suicide' attack but according to several witnesses including police officers who survived the attack, there was no 'suicide' bomber anywhere near but in fact he saw an explosive device being thrown onto the crowd of officers from a fleeing white Suzuki pickup van.
