He is considered one of the pioneers in television journalism, particularly the televised interview and has become famous for his historical research revealing disconcerting events in Venezuela History, and his tv program Así son las Cosas. Has won in three occasions the National Prize of Journalism and the First Prize of the Association of Writers of Venezuela in the contest Biographies of Famous Venezuelans, for his work entitled Carlos J. Bello, el sabio olvidado. He also won the Silver Book Prize in 1992 awarded by Planeta Publishing, for the largest book circulation of the year. G1
